Dan qualified with distinctions in acupuncture at the International Bodyharmonics School, under the tutelage of renouned western expert and governmental advisor on acupuncture, Maria Mercati. Dan is a member of UKOM (United Kingdom Oriental Medicine) register of practitioners and Shiatsu Society. As a registered member your acupuncturist adheres to a strict code of safe practice which demands stringent standards of hygiene.

Dan has been interested in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) for several years. His background is IT, however his passion has always been Chinese Medicine and he would love to make the community more aware of the effectiveness of applied Chinese medicine through bodywork and Acupuncture.

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture is safer and cheaper than Botox and cosmetic surgery and can help to reduce under eye bags, crow’s feet, jowls and wrinkles caused by ageing and stress. The procedure is said to be the secret beauty weapon of several A-list stars, including Demi Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna.

The session lasts for about 40 minutes and, in that time, very fine, sterile needles are inserted into the acupuncture points on the face which are responsible for boosting circulation, helping toxins to drain away from the lymphatic system and stimulating the production of new collagen. The needles are precisely placed to tighten sagging muscles at the jaw, neck, and reduce smile lines, before being gently stimulated by an electrical current. Each treatment concludes with a face massage. The overall effect is to increase blood flow, resulting in the skin tightening and becoming smoother in appearance; fine lines may be entirely erased, deeper lines reduced, and bags around the neck and eyes firmed.
