For stress and general upper body discomforts, rejuvenating and relaxing Indian Head Massage provides ideal relief, soothing facial and jaw muscles and easing sinus pressure and tension headaches.

Based on the Ayurvedic system of healing which has been practiced in India for over a thousand years, the aim is to release the stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders.

The client, fully clothed, sits in a massage chair and the therapist uses a range of different movements including the application of deep kneading and compression movements over the neck, shoulder and scalp areas, as well as gently stimulating and stroking pressure points on the face.

Indian head massage is especially good for relieving stress, tension and fatigue. It also helps to increase joint mobility and flexibility in the neck and shoulders.
