Nikki has an ITEC Diploma in Massage Therapy through the Clare Maxwell-Hudson School, London and a Diploma in Ayurvedic Therapies, having studied with Dr Deepa Apte at the Ayurveda Pura Academy, London.

These treatments all involve establishing an individuals constitution and the nature of any imbalance. The therapist will then encourage the individuals body and mind back into a state of healthy balance. Specialist Ayurvedic herb infused massage oils are used according to the persons requirements.

Head And Face

Shirodhara – Forehead Oil Flow treatment (1 hour) A wonderfully blissful treatment involving a steady stream of warm oil gently poured in a rhythmical movement over the central chakra point on the forehead. It can help to alleviate stress as it is deeply relaxing.

Mukhabyanga – Traditional Facelift Massage (1 hour) or (30 minutes) =  This massage can help to relax and tone the facial muscles and stimulate the micro circulation and lymph flow, thereby promoting the natural regeneration of healthy younger looking skin.

Shirobhyanga – Head Massage (45 minutes) or (30 minutes) This intensely relaxing yet revitalising massage helps to nourish both hair and roots.

Karana Purana – Ear Treatment (45 minutes) A relaxing treatment of the ears that can help to cleanse and open channels.

Akshitarpana – Eye Treatment (1 hour)  A unique Ayurvedic treatment that can help to bring relief to tired, burning, watery eyes.

Nasya – Nasal Cleansing Treatment (45 minutes)  A gentle facial massage is followed by a steam therapy and application of warm herbal oils through the nose. This treatment can help to relieve headaches, sinusitis, sleep ailments and tiredness.

Body Treatments

Abhyanga – Whole Body Massage (1 hour) A holistic massage involving long full body strokes to improve lymph flow and revitalise the nervous system. It aims to balance the mind and body.

Marma Massage – Energy Point Massage (11/2 hours) A revitalising massage of the Marma (energy) points which can help to stimulate the circulatory, immune and nervous systems.

Pristhabyanga – Back Massage (45 minutes)  A muscle relaxing massage to help ease tension and strains.

Nabhi Abyanga – Abdominal Massage (45 minutes)  A non-invasive massage technique to the abdomen that can help to tone the abdominal organs and assist in weight loss around the stomach area.

Pada Abyanga – Foot  and leg Massage (45 minutes) or (30 minutes)  This very relaxing Ayurvedic foot massage uses special Ayurvedic oils to encourage relaxation and revitalise tired feet and legs.

Hasta Abyanga – Hand and arm Massage (45 minutes)  or (30 minutes) This calming and soothing massage uses Ayurvedic oils to help revitalise and relax the hands and arms.

Udvartana – Herbal Body Scrub Massage (1 hour)  An exfoliating massage using finely ground Ayurvedic herbs, including exotic sandalwood used with herb infused oils, this massage leaves the skin feeling soft.

 Pinda Sveda – Herbal Bolus Massage (1hour)  A rejuvenating, strengthening and nourishing massage which uses cotton poultice bags filled with specially selected herbs.  These are dipped in warm herbal oils and massaged over the body .  It can help ease muscle and joint pain, tension and stress.

Kati Basti (1 hour)  A unique warm oil treatment for the lower back, which can be helpful in easing all lower back ailments including acute and chronic pain, nerve disorders and sciatica.

Greeva Basti (1 hour) A warm oil treatment for the back of the neck, it can be helpful in improving neck pain, tension and stress-related ailments.

Hridaya Basti (1 hour) The heart area is continuously bathed with warm oils which can help ease nervousness, anxiety, fear and grief.
