Bill Wood Yoga Workshop – Light and Grounded – Vital and Relaxed

Saturday 21st September 2013

1:30pm – 5:30pm  – £35

We are delighted to welcome Bill back to Shambhala for another inspirational day of yoga. Bill has a wonderful understanding of yoga that is both informative and inspiring. This workshop is suitable for all levels and abilities of yoga. We recommend taking a late breakfast instead of lunch. There will be a short break with refreshments provided.

Finding ways of being more alive, loose and creative in our yoga practice, so as to cultivate a more balanced sense of both energy and rest within ourselves. The selection of practices during the day will reflect the needs and abilities of the group, while also offering people a safe place to challenge themselves. Each session will end with a period of quiet relaxation and meditation.

A yoga teacher since 1994, Bill has studied extensively since 1996 with Diane Long, one of Vanda Scaravelli’s longest standing students. He has also trained with Sophie Hoare and John Stirk and, back in the mid-1990s, qualified as a Sivananda Teacher and as a Yoga Therapist with the YBT. Away from his mat, Bill also works as a body-centred psychotherapist with a private practice near Totnes in Devon.
