Back in September, Santra female brown yoga bear delighted zoo visitors by going through a full 15 minute work out putting each leg upwards and spreading them out in front of her in full yoga mode. She was caught on camera by Meta Penca, 29, a web programmer from Slovenia at Finland’s Ahtari Zoo. Yoga Relieves Stress

A recent study from the Boston University School of Medicine found that regular yoga practice can help you to keep calm, reduce anxiety and keep depression at bay. The study took two groups – one walked for three hours per week and the other did three yoga sessions. Brain scans showed that doing yoga boosted levels of the chemical GABA in the body.
